Sandino’s Cafe Bar in Derry, Northern Ireland #iPhone #photos

Alex, Jenna and myself made our way to Sandino’s for a drink earlier today. The inside of the bar has a lot of character, photos taken with my iPhone shared below. An interesting thing about Derry is that there seems to be a lot of Palestinian flags everywhere.

I’ve been told that it’s in solidarity with the Palestinian people, given the history of Derry. Lots to learn about the history of this place, I’m sure this conference at the University of Ulster we’re attending on divided societies over the next couple of days will help illuminate some of this for me.
